Harry Satoshi

Harry Satoshi (Aoraki_RangerNZ) is a New Zealand independent crypto journalist and Chief Editor at Cryptocurrency NZ. Based in Ōtūtahi Christchurch, he entered the Bitcoin space in 2017 as the first employee at Easy Crypto NZ at age 18, before founding Cryptocurrency NZ, Crypto Consulting NZ, and the NZ P2P Crypto Marketplace.

He grew and stewarded the country's largest crypto communities on Facebook, Reddit, and Discord, coordinated 600+ crypto meetups nationwide, and served as president of the University of Canterbury Crypto Society. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Entrepreneurship and Strategy, with minors in Innovation and Human Resource Management, from the University of Canterbury. He contributes to Web3NZ following its transfer from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to the community.

His reporting spans markets, regulation, emerging technology, and the grassroots, grounded in primary sourcing, direct industry relationships, and a commitment to reporting crypto the way it deserves.
